We are pleased to share that the members of Forestville RSL Club have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the proposed redevelopment, marking a momentous step for the Club's future. This result highlights the collective commitment of members to ensuring the Club remains a successful, vibrant and thriving hub for generations to come.
With both DA approval and member support secured, the Clubis now preparing to advance to the next phase of the redevelopment process. This includes finalising design details, obtaining necessary building approvals, and setting a timeline for construction. Throughout this process, the Club remains committed to transparency and will continue providing updates to keep members informed every step of the way.
About the Redevelopment
The approved redevelopment plans include the construction of a single-level, state-of-the-art Club featuring meeting and function spaces, multiple dining options, family-friendly play areas, configurable event spaces, and RSL displays and sub-Branch office space. Alongside this new Club facility will be Garraway, a boutique retirement living village housing approximately 52 independent living apartments designed to support seniors in a connected and thriving community.
We have been overwhelmed by the strong level of interest from members and the wider community wanting to learn more about Garraway - the proposed retirement village included in our redevelopment.
